Anyone here have a MULTIPLY blogspot?

Discuss hard-to-find or out-of-print New Wave and '80s Alternative, and share a few songs along the way.
NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

I'm digging mine. It lets you upload music and videos. No more yousendit or rapidshare for me. Files expiring after 7 days (yousendit) or being deleted for little or no reason (rapidshare) turned me off posting music & videos, and led me to cancelling out my old blog (Electric Dreams). I can't say enough good things about MULTIPLY (I wish it didn't take an eternity to upload my files, but you can't have everything, huh?). Okay, unsolicited advertisement over.

Work is kind of crazy right now ... maybe in Sep or Oct.

What's the filesize limit at Multiply? Would 200MB .zip files be a problem?

Since EBlogger sucked to high heaven I thought that I would try another MP3 blog.

Hutter, how do you you attach an image to a music post? For the life of me...I can't figure that piece out.

Oh jeez, I wish I knew how to explain that. I use photobucket and click and drag the second of the three choices to the description box on the multiply blog. I know that won't help. I'm lousy at explaining this kind of stuff.[V]

If your talking about Multiply (and I think you are) then:

On your home page, there's a box for all catagories. Under the photos box there should be a tab called "Upload photos". Click on that then it gives you a number of options to choose from: Image Shack, Kodak Gallery, Flikr, Yahoo, Flutterfly or near the top "Choose Photos". If the pic you want resides on your hard drive then pick that one. A mini explorer pops up and you locate the photo on your hard drive, click and your done. As for the others, I suppose it's kinda like the same thing (I have all of my images one my hard drive).

Hope that helps.

Max

Hey Hutter,

How do you get that Music Player control that you have after your intro paragraph? Is that something you added yourself or is it available somewhere on Multiply?

Thanks, DG

Hutter, I don't feel like looking for your other thread, but here's <a href="http://s19.quicksharing.com/v/2867268/Morrissey_Everyday_is_Like_Sunday.mpg.html" target=_blank>Everyday is Like Sunday mpg</a>. Recently leeched from a torrent Morrissey video archive and removed the encoder's shitty tag at the beginning [:)]. No TV logos! I didn't get the rest of the videos ... only this one.

-on the home page, in the top right corner, click on "Edit home page"
-click on "Home page content"
-put a check mark in the box next to "Play music on your home page"

It'll give you a choice of your playlists. Hope this helps.

BTW: obs, thanks! I'll throw that vid on the blog in a few.
