Asexual!! [:p]

Now, being serious: straight. Though I'm sure that my life would be less complicated if I was asexual. [;)]

According to Kinsey there aren't people at the extremes at either end of the scale.

I would never call soemone bi-sexual who has "done it" once, twice a few times, whatever in their life, simply because people need to identify with whatever they consider themselves to be. There are a lot of reasons people have sex & it's not always about a deep burning in your soul to "be with this person."

I suppose if you want to look at it from a clinical perspective - homosexual or heterosexual behavior does not define the sexual orientation of someone at one end of the spectrum or the other. I suppose it could be characterized as bisexual behavior. But, behavior does not equal orientation.

Like Rubellian, I do not care for the stereotype of gay men that want to fuck everything in sight & are overly concerned with drapes & nice clothes. I do believe whole-heartedly that it's simply a stereotype. In my experience, there are very few of them. Most of the guys I know would rather define sexual orientation as "who do you fall in love with," rather than "who do you screw." I think if you take a look around you'll see the same. Honestly, straight people are not solely at fault for perpetuating stereotypes.

How comes there isn't a choice for 'asexual' some people claim to be that nowadays, some peopel don't have sex at all so what if somebody is an asexual? (Not me but just thinking you know)

How about "abstinent" or "celibate" newwavepunkgirl?

I know some people use asexual to describe an orientation - but when I hear that word, I'm always reminded of worms & slugs that reproduce assexually! [:D]

Don't know about anyone else, but for the last 20 years, a majority of people who listen to 'new wave'/'synthpop' etc are stereotyped as being gay (at least by the knobhead mullet army) but the majority here are straight (or liars).
