Girls On Film Question

Postby zill » Thu Sep 14, 2006 3:09 pm

Asking this might be the height of laziness - I apologize in advance.

Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find the live version of Girls On Film that was in the Arena video, which is not on the Arena album?

If it was on the VHS, it should be on the DVD (I'm too lazy to check)

One reviewer says it's there. Nice packaging ... includes stickers.

OK, then here's my opportunity to demonstrate what a brainless knuckle-dragging drooler I am...

How does one go about ripping an mp3 file from a DVD?

Sorry, guys, I really don't know.[?]

Oh, and there is no such thing as a stupid question. How else are you going to learn anything?

I use DVD2AVI (freeware) to decode + resample an unprotected DVD (or unprotected DVD files) to wave.

Berserker - thanks for saving me some time.

I still have cassettes to rip, now I have the means to rip dvds, but where to find the time. Ever have this conversation at your house?

wife: what are you doing now on the computer?
zill: ripping vinyl
wife: why don't you just buy the cd like normal people?
zill: well, duh, it was never released on cd
wife: well, DUH, maybe there's a good reason it was never released on cd, because it SUCKS

this is my private hell
