looks to be a common theme but mine were devo, blondie, and the cars. then i moved heavily into abc with their lexicon of love album one of my all time favorites, along with duran duran and missing persons.

An older friend of mine put on a vinyl copy of Heaven 17's Penthouse and Pavement and I was hooked to that group. I borrowed the LP (forever), and would listen to it over and over again while doing homework in my room. What a great LP.

Definatly the Cars--Bought their first lp the first day I heard Just What I Needed. I knew of them as a local band but never got around to seeing them in the club scene.

Other than them , I stray from most everyone here. i was
