I could give a crap about the personal lives of anyone on this c'here board, so that's not what this poll is about. It's about the selfish acts and disregard for others. Of course, I'm refering to America's sweetheart, Kimiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. I don't take a liking to any of my, or anyone else's past or future posts being erased just to keep one person happy. It happened before, it'll probably happen again. And yeah, I know this is Mike P's board, and it's his call on who can and who can't post here...but I think (as many here think as well), for the tone of the board, he made a mistake. It's not just my opinion, and here, in this here thread, you can let him know what you think, one way or another, totally anonymous if you chose. Maybe Mike will reconsider his decision, or at the very least not let what happened before happen again on this here board.

Could you add a third choice? Get rid of "BLANK" instead? I have an idea or two.

The integrity of the board should not be fucked with regardless of anyones opinion of what is posted.

I've noticed much too often that the majority of folks here keep their thoughts to themselves on the board, then send me or others emails encouraging or chastising us. I take that for what it's worth. But this situation...calls for a poll of opinion, and since most folks here don't like to burn bridges and take sides "officially", then this will give them a way to voice their concerns or approval of Mike P's decision to allow our returning drama queen another chance at wrecking the board.

Fair enough, der kommissar?

I personally think to have such a poll to further try to fuel the hostility and hatred shown toward one person is not going to accomplish anything, except maybe to exhibit a lack of ability to simply move on leave it be. I am not perfect and have no desire to flog someone for choices they made, right or wrong, whether I know what happened or not. Nor do I care to know. I too had many of my responses deleted (I guess) when Kim's were deleted, but honestly, my life has not changed, I am no worse for it, and lose no sleep over it. I have not spent one second caring about the posts being gone, because frankly, this board is less than a zillionth of any real importance to the grand scheme of things in my life.

I guess my life experiences, and my own beliefs, would make me want to reach out and extend a forgiving hand to someone. I've been graciously forgiven for things I may have said or done in my life, so I believe others deserve the same. I for one just don't have it in me to try to go for someone's jugular - if my life is at stake, sure, but this is a message board, mostly anonymous at that, and pretty harmless.

Many people here have no clue who Kimiiii even was when she posted in the past, yet still find it easy to lash out at her, and start such threads that clearly lack any human dignity.

If I have offended anyone by this response, maybe I too should be admonished to hell for failing to condemn someone simply over a message board. No one deserves such hatred. I will be happy to give up my membership on this board if I lack the requisite ability to attack, degrade and show my hatred. Whatever Kim may have said or done, and I hope for this board's sake any details remain in the past, she does not deserve to be treated like a human outcast. Unless of course by anyone feeling so above the ability to consider they are just that perfect that they can dish the hatred in spoonfuls to those less worthy of them.

I've said my piece. No, I am on no one's side. I am on the side of tolerance, and of being able to offer a welcome back to someone. That's it. I cannot, nor will not, try to judge Kim for anything. I am as imperfect as the next person. The grace of forgiveness (and this is not a religious tone I am taking, just a human being trying to figure out and make it like everyone else) is a wonderful gift to have.

You're making the assumption that this poll will be statistically representative of the NWO population. A BIG assumption in my opinion, but whatever.

My comment above was a (somewhat tongue-in-cheek) comment about the king of the posters here seemingly counting himself among those who don't post here often. You certainly seem to have no difficulty expressing your view, and in a timely manner I'm sure I'll get a response to this.

Personally, I was just starting to post here at NWO when everything with Kimii started. I have no personal opinion about her--as I have not really interacted with her. If MikeP has given his OK for her to continue to post here, that's his perrogative. I agree with others here that I'm a bit puzzled why someone with such a bad experience here would want to come back, but that's not my concern. Kimiii should expect a free range of opinions here--both for and against things she says--as should we all. As long as things remain in the realm of civility I have no problem with it.

That seems fair to me, Oberfeldwebel (my assumption on your rank)

What does any of that have to do with the intent of the poll?

I just hate the idea of folks posts and threads being in jeopardy the next time Kimiiiiiiiiiiiii gets an itch and feels threatened.

How'd ya like it if I asked Mike P. to delete every post I ever threw my goofy commentary into? Kiss 75% of the last 10 months threads goodbye. How would that make you feel about me later returning to the board and acting like everything is okey dokey?

Where's your guarantee that what happened before, the deep-sixing of entire threads, won't happen again? Why would anyone feel the need to post ANYTHING, knowing that the gal that pulled that trick once before, is back?

I could give two shits about ANY of my own posts being deep-sixed, but theres a lot of folks here that would drop this board if what happened before happens again. Since I have no credibility to lose, I may as well be the prick that lays most folks concerns out.

Hutter- YOU HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
The only posts removed were kimiii's. All the original posts, and responses are intact. Only kimiii's are removed, by her request, and only after a viscious, unwarranted personal attack-post on her, which was directly related to the NWO.

This whole affair is one reason I gave up posting on the Not Necessarily New Wave(NNNW)thread. Too much nastiness. In retrospect, I think NNNW has been a big error. Before NNNW started, NWO was a much nicer place to hang. Just my 2 cents....
