Mounties, reminded me of the "I'ma Lumberjack" song.

Now that we are on the mountie theme, does anyone remember the movie Pandemonium? There's a trailer to view on this site. http://videodetective.com/

Hopefully the pettiness and focus on me will subside with a little time.

If that was a real concern for you...then why didn't you just come back under a different name, and let the folks you have good feelings for know through email?

I think you like all this attention.

Although as eight6 can attest, I'd have it pegged instantly. [}:)]

Blind people in New Jersey had you pegged right away.

I think it was the twirling shadow avatar, as well as the obnoxious Canuck accent. [:o)]

Y'know, I've been here way before Kim and the majority others. I tend to come across a little stand offish but that's my choice.I've screwed up with a few assertions and had made a dick out of myself more than once but whathehell. I come and go, post and then disappear for a month or two and don't really care if people miss me or not. I'm here for the music and establishing contacts and maybe make few friends from doing it. I don't get whiney if no one responds to my threads and don't threaten to leave if no one kisses my ass when I share something. I don't care what others may or may not call new wave. Does it matter as long as you like it. Kim burned more than bridges and I have know preconceived idea of how i'll respond if we bump into each other on a thread . I'm sure I'll be respectful but it's not a popularity contest or to see how many posts you can rack up. Do I have to say it again "IT'S ABOUT NEW WAVE!" not mistakes, egos or the mods.
Now who knows maybe I'll disappear for a month or so who knows

Panorama/Dan is rather unpopular with certain people here. I'm sure he'd love to get the respect that you're demanding.

"Cut & paste" Coogan will have to work very hard indeed...perhaps if he started by posting something that wasn't a straight lift from elsewhere on the web that would be a start.

Just kidding Dan, not even that would work.

<br>In fact, no one here knows much about me, because I don't state very many opinions or reveal too much about myself. Some of that is because of you. I don't know or care about the specifics of your disappearance from this board. I don't care who is right or wrong. However, the lesson that I (re-)learned from that incident was that anything you say can be used against you at any time.

I agree with Plagiarism on this point, at least. Between this lesson and the pointless posts of some of our attention whore members, I'm less comfortable here than I used to be, and I haven't been around much. (No, it's not because Ben called me "Ally McBeal."[;)]) I always enjoyed your posts and our shared memories, Kim, and I wish you well.
