I don't know much about Chain of Fun, except the group members were all brothers (plus one or two extras) and had the luxury of using their dad's recording studio. Not so much a classic as a song with an interesting bassline.

It was 1980 when Pittsburgh's Pete Hewlett (singer) hooked up with drummer Michael Shrieve (Santana) in New York and Stephen Dees (bass), a highly respected session player. They formed: "Novo Combo".

They were signed to Polygram and put out two albums: A Self-Titled in 1981 and a year later their last, second album: "The Animation Generation". They sang a fantastic mix of Power-Pop and New Wave which i consider similar to Atlanta's "The Producers".

Novo Combo toured with The Who, Cheap Trick, Greg Lake and performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival. From 1982, here's "Novo Combo" with "The Animation Generation !"
