Girls At Our Best request

OK, so it's not a song request but more of a contact request. A record label is interested in re-issueing the classic "Pleasure" album, but needs to contact the current rights holder. The assumption is the band hold the rights, and while I had brief contact some months back with one of the people who ran their former record label, Happy Birthday Records, now is the time to find the current rights owner so we can get this classic remastered and re-released. The original CD, on the Vinyl Japan label, is long out of print (and most of the songs were vinyl transfers anyway). Can anyone assist me in contacting one of the band members or current rights holders?

Try calling Pinnacle records distribution in London. I Think they soley distributed this album back in 82.Someone out there may still have lists of contacts or data bases .. just a thought.

I have the CD and I never knew that. I would, however LOVE to see a remastered CD. The VINYL JAPAN release leaves a lot to be desired sound quality-wise.

Also Vinyl Japan have closed down operations. The websites still there but you can't order anything and the email I had back says that they weren't going anymore. :(

Shame as they sold some great stuff.

I agree completely! I didn't get a chance to order from them before they folded but I wish I had. [:(]
