Request: Flesh for Lulu -- Idol

Does anybody have Flesh for Lulu's song "Idol"? It came out in 1986. I know it was one of my fave songs by them, but now I can't remember one single note of it, it's driving me crazy. was it indeed a good song? thankssss

Can't give you the notes but maybe portions of the lyrics can help:

Wo-hoh you keep calling me
Yeah, you're my a-ha-idol

Not my favorite piece from them. I still can't get over how beautiful Postcards from Paradise is.

Here's the track your looking for....ripped it myself from a white label 45 I picked up at Bill's in Dallas many many moons ago. It's got a slight pop at 1:44 but other than that its pretty good. It is a really good Flesh tune, I miss these guys.
Enjoy!

dj lestat...just wondering if you ever happened to rip the b-side of the "Idol" single? the song is "Sleeping Dogs" but it's an earlier version than the one on the "Long Live the New Flesh" album. i read somewhere it's noticable different. anybody else hear it?

Yeps Idol is a good song , it was played on BM105 with Life of Crime so it means that the station had the 12" and not the 7".

I have both versions of this CD, the 1987 Capitol records and 2003 Superfecta. I'm not like everybody else is a bonus track found only on the Superfecta version.
