I love those U-Scans!
They are always empty, I can check each price as it rings up, and I can bag my groceries exactly the way I want them bagged. I'm one of those nerds who brings their own canvas bags to the store, so this is nice.

I guess my only beef is when I can't see or find the price on items. I hate that! Or what about when there is a Sale sticker still stuck to the shelf by that item, but the sale is done ? So the item is no longer that price ? Urgh!

<br>I don't like chatty cashiers. Just shut up, scan my stuff and let me go.

I also don't like the ones who investigate what I'm buying. I don't know why. The last time this happened, the cashier held up a bag of shredded cheese and said she'd never bought a bag of cheese like that before. C'mon, lady. You're 85 years old (at least), and you've never bought a bag of shredded cheese? My cheese led to a conversation about what it was for (burritos), my accent (Texas) and how I must like to eat beans on everything. Um, OK.

I'm nice, but inside I was to scream. I just want out of there. I hate grocery shoppping with a passion, so by the time I get to poor old Elsie who has never bought a bag of cheese, I'm coming unglued. I hate the kids who run wild, the retards who have family reunions in the middle of the aisles and the people who have parked their carts in front of the frozen pizza I want while they are 10 feet away looking at frozen peas. MOVE YOUR SHIT!

LOL! with the "move your shit"![:D] I say something like that everytime slow-ass people obstruct me when I'm in a hurry! (esp. at work). It is so damn annoying![}:)]

Ever shop for groceries with a herd of 90 year olds who can't walk, read labels or hear each other, then ask why they don't sell Dr. Tennenbaum's Dropsy Powder anymore.[/quote]Just wait til you're 90 and you need your Dr. Tennenbaum's Dropsy Powder! [:D]

By then I'll be suffering from cretinism, consumption, lock jaw & jail fever...

I remember an old Simpson's episode when Grandpa & Marge's mother were arguing over what kind of medicine to give Maggie, it was a bunch of medicines from the 1800's (like dropsy powder...) Wish I could remember some!
