We haven't turned on the furnace yet, but we've used the fireplace to take the chill out of the house at night. Nights have been below freezing already. And the down comforter is on the bed now. Flannel sheets won't be far behind.

Here it's beautiful... around 25 ºC... or 298º K (that was soooooo nerd... [:p]).
Don't know excatly how many ºF it is.
But it's hot... we are filling our swimming pool.

Man I dont get it. Where is the freaking cold? Its only 50 out here...and thats wussy cold. I need it to be ASS COLD. Freeze your nuts to your thighs when you walk outside cold. It is never cold enough for me.
But I suppose Im about to get my ass handed to me. Im still a southern resident...and I get my ass handed to me when the winds get up to 40-60 range and drop the temp to -14. Then I turn into a big pussy and complain about walking in class from 7:30 to 8.
So yeah....Im hot now...but Im about to get my face frozen off.

I turned the heat on like 3 weeks ago. Of course, every other day it's called for it. The other days? Perfectly nice out. Then I see SNOW in the forecast for the next 3 days. I'm in the twin cities just like Ollie Stench.

Not a flake. We had our first frost last night - that's about it. It's a beautiful sunny fall day here.
Buffalo & Syracuse both get lake effect snow, although from different lakes. When Buffalo gets hit, we usually don't & vice versa.

in DC..no heat yet, but no AC either. we went down to about 45 last night. mrs noodles busted out her electric blanket to stay warm, but she still had the ceiling fan on medium, strange. hope to keep the heat off until november!

Well, the daytimes are still nice--lower 70s--but the nights are now getting down to the upper 30s. The nights are when our furnace kicks on. The daytimes are still tank top and shorts weather ! Fall is weird like that here.

Another unusually sunny day here on the left coast of Canada...
Some of you won't believe this but I was actually shocked [:0] when I went outside this morning (Oct 31) and had to scrape the ice off my car for the first time. I think the heater kicked in last night too.
We don't all live in igloos in Canada, eh! And we don't all say "eh", eh!
