Welcome to the new forum!
If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

Annett Louisan`s Debutalbum trägt den Titel "Boheme" und beinhaltet eine aussergewöhnliche Mischung von liederlichen Pop-Perlen und zuckersüssen Gemeinheiten. Produziert wurde die 25-jährige Hamburgerin von Textpartner Frank Ramond, der aus ihren Geschichten und Erfahrungen erstklassige Songs schmiedet, die in Bezug auf textliche Raffinesse und Melodie ihres gleichen suchen.

In "Das Spiel" weiß Annett nur zu genau wie sehr sie ihren Partner zum Rasen bringt, behauptet aber keck "ich will doch nur spielen, ich tu doch nichts" ! Alternativ zur Album-Originalversion des Titels besticht der Radiomix durch Werner Becker`s Gespür für punktgenaue Streicherarrangements.

Thanks for the info! I thought she was Neue Deutche Welle (New Wave), the album Bohème looks like it came out in 2004, oh well, not so "dated." It is a cool song though... just like you said: "Funny, she actually looks like she sounds cool." Sorry it's not '80s! [:0]

Okay, I have been wanted to add to this topic and finally thought of a song I have that is pretty obsure. I recently got it from the drummer of the band, and he had to transfer it from vinyl for me. It was played on WLIR here on Long Island.

And now, leaving the jokes behind and getting into the thread's topic:
this song is by a band I know nothing about and the sound quality is not very good since the vinyl was a bit scratchy, but I thought it would be nice to share it anyway.
If someone knows something about this band or has a 'cleaner' version of this or other songs, I'd be happy to see them posted on this thread.
