Name That Tune Volume 16

Back by popular demand, here is the next edition of the Name That Tune[/b] game. Since most of you had such a hard time with the last game, I've made a concerted effort to make this one easier. I believe that scores will be a lot higher on this one. That said, don't expect a cake walk. There are still a fair number of tantalizing less well known tracks for the experts to ponder. For the record, the very last song (#25) is a 12" Extended Mix. All of the rest of the tracks are the standard single or album versions. [8D]

There are a total of 25 songs clips. The game is on a 100 points basis (2 point for artist, 2 point for title). There are 2 seconds of silence between song clips. Download your response form below and email it to me for tabulation when you're finished (my email address is on the form). Make sure to put your forum screen names on your answers, so I know who you are. I will send the Answer Sheet to everyone who sends me their responses (if you don't hear from me within 24 hours, I probably didn't get your email). Don't post your responses here!

Here's the link for the response form (my email address is on it):

Here's the song sampler link:

The game will end on Friday December 10 at 4PM EST[/b].

Good Luck! [:)]

If by "a concerted effort to make this one easier, you meant just "an effort to make it just as hard or harder," then you've succeeded. [:D]

Hmmm...

Perhaps I should give up trying to make predictions on scores. It seems quite clear that I don't know what you don't know. With the few earlybird responses I have received, the scores are about the same as the last game (within a couple point

Well, after the first listen, I think I've got 12 of 'em. Unfortunately, the other 13 tracks might as well have been manufactured by fritzb in his garage, because I've never heard them before.

I'm sorry, but I just can't promise you that I'll be able

kimiii,

I don't think it's what you remember more so than what you still listen to today. I still collect vinyl and try to open myself up to new bands everyday and learn things I missed out on back than. It's kind of fun when you think about it... I fe

This should be a lesson to all you folks who claim to be too "embarrassed" to send in your responses. Unless you can't identify more than 5 songs, you have no excuses not to play.

Just had the results back from fritzb. On the up side I'm so far the only person to get #14 and #23. On the down side, the rest.

36 points. Yep, bang on average.. :/

I got a score of 44. I did better then I thought, but there were songs I should have gotten that I didn't. I am proud to say that I was the first to answer number 15. [:D] Thanks Fritz!
