Can anyone name the first ten played videos on Mtv....The first was "Video killed the radiostar" by The Buggles. What was the 2nd, 3rd and so on?

I read somewhere that they only had about 150 videos to choose from in their early days and 30 of them were from Rod Stewart! Is #5 the same song that Tesla had a while back?

Hmmm...I could have sworn one of the original ten was a Robin Lane and the Chartbusters video. Oh, well. Still, an interesting set that completely exemplifies the turning point from the 1970's arena rock dinosaurs to the fresh-faced eighties wavers.

Hey THECHAMPIONGENE - just out of curiousity, how did you know that? Did you just have this info socked away on your hard drive or is there some place online where this has been printed before?

Todd Rundgren now that is a very cool influence! I beleive he will be playing with Joe Jackson early this spring out here in the bay area.
