It's natural that if you border another country like Mexico there will be huge spillovers like in southern California and Texas. It saddens me that now the growing U.S population is using Mexican immigration as an excuse for this country's problems. Mexicans are hard workers, so are other Central Americans. It was true when the Mexican President said that Mexicans hold more and longer jobs than Blacks and most whites in this country, menial jobs with low pay and no benefits. The same excuse was used back in the turn of the century with the Irish...America back then claimed that Europe is vomiting.
Awwwww, those poor illegal imigrants. They should be left alone to burden our public facilities like transportation, medical care, sanitation, public school, electricity, waterworks, etc. Facilities they're exempt from contributing to because of their rightful status in this country. Our taxes and insurance premiums *should* be raised to benefit these people who bleed money from our economy by funneling it back to their countries. The Mexican president can kiss my light brown ass. Somebody tell him to make his own country more attractive so his own people stay there and get jobs they're so good at holding down. Get a clue E-side [V]

I think everything should be done in moderation and I do not believe in overdoing it. I think extreme action is allways dangerous be it too many Mexicans crossing our borders but I also think that it's also dangerous to villianize a group who's only crime is wanting a better life...It's good to be nice..Who knows??? maybe someday we ourselves might need to seek refuge across the border over to Mexico one day?

I'd like a better life also, so does that give me the right to steal from other people? Does that give me the right to destroy another's economy for the betterment of myself? This is the problem these days. These people are taking from Americans for their own good. A completely different way of life from previous immigrants who came here, learned the language & became Americans. Their only crime is NOT wanting a better life. They crossed the border ILLEGALLY. They are tax evaders, that's another crime by the way. They are criminals, it's that plain & simple.

Studies have shown that if you put too many rats together in one space, they will attack and kill each other viciously....I'd like to wish that we as Human beings are way above that type of behavior.

Great except that isn't their only crime...far from it. I'm happy to see if I ever get tired of my current abode and need a place to live, I can break into your house, avail myself of whatever I want, and have someone kind enough to pay my way for the duration of my stay with you. Oh, and by the way I like my breakfast early, so get up and make it for me.

Thanks for your kindness.

Marie, Marie. You know I was kidding. Anytime I mention Paraguayans and Uruguayans in the same post it's all in Jest, the winky dude was a hint too. I was serious about not being offended by the deleted word. I think people need to lighten up a little bit. It's totally okay to point out if you are offended, one should. But equally okay to state if you are not. I guess when some people joke or go against the grain others get thier panties in a bunch and have little coniption fits at thier keyboard and go on the attack. Pretty sad!! Just watch! And Eight6, you can call me Skippy anytime [;)]

Just think back to what Lou Dobbs keeps asking, "It's been FIVE years since 09/11, what has our Congress and President done about our borders?" This upcoming election, it's high time to vote out those running for their seats to put in new people who have not failed us... that goes for both parties[V]

Thanks Skippy! And for the record, I'm not offended by the word Spic...I have no reason to be. It's just fun to take a poke at a jughead like Dar, esp. when he pulls the "I'm not caucasian, so the rules are different for me" shit. What an assinine thing to do.

I'm not even sure what you're saying here. But I have a few theories:

1. You are somehow equating the opinions of those us who are opposed to illegal immigration with murder; that by holding this opinion and being passionate about it, we are murderers. This is ridiculous.

2. You are saying that I, as someone who is opposed to illegal immigration, should deny my base instinct for self-preservation and enrichment and the preservation and enirchment of my family so that someone else can do this for himself and his family, at my further expense.

3. Or, maybe you're just saying that as resources dwindle (whether those resources are food, adequate education, tax dollars, etc), we should deny simply that it's even happening and hope for some sort of deux ex machina event that will resolve the whole problem.

"Way to go Marie. Nothing like throwing the first ammendment out the window. I can name at least ten other things on the boards that offend me a thousand times more than spic did."

This is the part I was questioning. Not the Paraguayans and Uruguayans part. That winky face is always there with a little kick somewhere.
Can we all call you Skippy now? [;)]
(and you still didn't answer the medication question)[}:)][:p][;)]

It always makes me crazy when I hear Bush say "War on Terror". The whole thing is B.S. without securing our borders.
What are the odds of your greatest "Mexican Fears" playing out??? You have a better chance of having your rights taken away by this current administration...Your home invaded and your property seized than by Mexican Immigrants bursting into your homes...Is Bush Deux ex Machina???
