I knew about this too and I was kind'a shaken up 'coz I'm a real die-hard for Morrissey (and The Smiths in general). It is not 100% sure to happen but it does make me sad just thinking about it... [:(] [:(] I've always loved the irony in his songs.

Well if he is retiring, I'm glad I got to see him earlier this year at NYC's Apollo Theatre. My third or fourth time seeing him. My only regret is not ever having seen the Smiths.

I still love Morrissey. The Smiths and Morressey have produced more interesting and quality music than most bands.
