Oh crap! What was that one with the robo cop guy? About writers and giant bugs and exterminaters? I watched it 3 times and still can't get the point.

Dude, I know people that loved that movie. They kept saying it was art. It was crap. It made no point at all. It went 20 different ways at once.

Remind me to drop you a line. I actually saw, with my own eyes, something very close to being as bad as the eel thing. I am never going to be the same.

Philly--you are such a tease!

Boggy Creek--did that have a scene where a woman is watching TV and the bigfoot thing puts its hand in through the window to grab her? I saw a movie like that as maybe an 8 or 9 year old, and it got me scared of the dark in a way that I never was as a little kid!

ONe old movie that creeped me out when I was a kid was [i]Willard[/i]. I don't know if it was "bad", but I was so weirded out afterwards, for a long, long time ! It was disturbing on so many levels.

"Frailty" with Bill Paxton....god,who would have ever guessed with him in it but that movie disturbed me immensly.Rent it if you have'nt seen it just for curiosities sake.

Making his kids participate in abducting and beheading humans who are so called demons....hardly ever a movie ever affects me but this one did !

I saw Phantom of the Paradise when I was 14 and it kinda wierded me out. I understand it's a cult classic now. Maybe I was too young to understand it.

I love that movie, esp. the scene where he's writing the cantata and the montage of Phoenix is shown - a beautiful cinematic moment!

I also like [i]Day Of The Woman[/i] (aka "I Spit On Your Grave")[}:)]

There are some films I've found disturbing. Coincidentally, the three are Mexican productions:

- There is a scene where a woman is beaten with an clothes iron that, to this day, remains in my mind. It's not graphic at all. They don't show the actual beating, but the implied camera shots and sound effects were gruesome enough for me. Mind you, I saw this movie on teevee when I was 9 or 10, so that only compounded the creepiness of it.

I just thought of another movie: [i]Amor Estranho Amor[/i]. That's the infamous movie starring Xuxa wherein she goes on to seduce a 12-year old boy. I was creeped out/disturbed at the implied explicitness of it[:0]
