Any IT People Here? I have a question.....

Postby djsoss » Sun Oct 29, 2006 6:21 am

Is there any people on here who are in IT? My question is, i work as a laptop repair tech fixing gateways and e-machines. I asked my supervisor over at work if I could get cretified thru the and his response was no. So I asked his boss and his boss, no one had a dammn clue. I know that Dell and HP does it. but I've looked high and low and nothing. If one of you guys can help me , please do.

Contact your HR dept and ask what the company policy is regrading training. They must be able to do something for you, even if its only paying for you to do the training on your own time. If they actually don't offer their staff any training at all, they clearly suck.

Yeah freeman you hit it right on the nail, seems like they do suck (Big Donkey Ones). HR, Supervisor, and the Engenier had no clue as to what in the F234K I was talkin about. [:(][:(][:(]

What the fuck is F234K? Is this some type of code for "cretified" people? If it's supposed to mean "fuck", were you trying to assign numerical values to the letters U and C based on their positions in the alphabet? If so, shouldn't it be F213K? Why not just say fuck? Am I just overanalyzing the obviously stupid again? Please fucking clarify.

Trust me ... that observation comes from years and years of costly research, brother. Don't ever get involved with a chick with personalized plates [xx(].

Other tips:

-Avoid any women whose first names start with the letter "T" (although my research is inconclusive and that may just be a Vermont thing).

-ALL girls named Danielle smoke huge amounts of pot. [:D]

-If you have a choice between hooking up with a girl named "Sarah" or one named "Sara", always pick the one without the "h".

Oh dear. ask your colleagues, see if any of them have ever managed to get any training out of them. Where there's a precedent there's a way...
