Death In June started out as an ultra-left wing Peace Punk band called Crisis. Similar in politics to CRASS but much better music. It's funny that they then evolved into the neo-facist DiJ.

I'm a huge Bill Nelson Fan too but didn't really consider him obscure.I have 5 disks to obtain before I complete his complete catalog! I have 75 complete albums on mp3 and 22 Ep's.

I really loved the one album from Shandi - it had a great song called Heartbeat. I don't know how obscure she was - but where I'm from there wasn't much new wave played other than the top 40 stuff. I do know she had a track on the Flashdance soundtrack
