Fast forward Toyah and you have Flashdance!

All kidding aside, Athletico Spizz 80 was one of the pleasant surprises in this movie. I haven't seen it in about 10 years (or more) but it still stands out

It was not shown in its entirety. You might want to read this thread (including page 1). It dropped anumber of performances, including 2 of the 3 best IMHO.

<br>Great movie! I saw it in a Uniondale, NY movie theatre.[/quote]

YES! The Uniondale Mini-Cinema where I also saw Rocky Horror countless times.

If I recall, this was shown as a double feature with Sid and Nancy.

I saw it before Sid and Nancy came out but I'm sure you're right. As far as Rockie Horror goes, I saw it a few times in Uniondale but mostly in Hicksville at the Mid Island Plaza double theatre.

Yes, it's the Broadway Mall now. I grew up in Hicksville and it will always be the Mid Island Plaza to me. Marie, is the theatre still there?

No, not the original one. I think IKEA stands where the original theater was. There is a big multiplex in the back of the mall.

Got it. The old one was, as you faced the Mall, to the far right. There was nothing in front of it at the time. Funny thing....I'll be going to Hicksville on Saturday. I think I'll make sure to pass by and have a look!

I saw it at a friend's house on cable tv. We watched it in a totally entranced kind of way. I remember her parents thought we were gonna go join a satanist cult or something. LOL

Great music. I occasionally reference Urgh! and people just look at me quizzically. It's nice to hear so many of you have seen it too!!!

Yay.

My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die.
