How best to leave the NWO

So, I'm just a dumb-ass-newbie-lurker here, and I don't have the history with the board and each other that you all do, so maybe I should just shut the fuck up and lurk.

But from an "outsider's" point of view I find this whole thing comical! Are we all back in high school? If this board and what people on this board think is really so important to you, take my advice: shut off your computer and go venture out into the real world and develop some real relationships with real people.

Isn't NWO all about the music? We'll all have different opinions about what's great and what's not. If eight-6 thinks I'm a bonard (I love that word, btw), so fucking what? That's his opinion. Why do you guys take it all so personally? Post what you like. If someone disagrees with your post, have a debate. It's not a popularity contest, its a forum to discuss new wave music!

Right. Now if I made that comment to anyone else, they would have taken it with a grain of salt, agreed with me or shot a jab back. But people like Nero cannot stand to be revealed for what they are. Disingenuous twats with zero tolerance for having any attention shed on them.

I cannot BELIEVE he started this whole thread and his subsequent comments because of one innocuous post. But Nero has always been high maintenance. Pinging me 80 times on the various Hubs we've had in the past to get a hold of me, bumping threads for "closure".....

Marv...how many times did Blir slap me down for my acting like a ass? How many times did I take it personal? Sometimes Blir was 100% right, sometimes not (at least IMO) but so friggin' what. I'm sure that eventually you and I will butt heads over something or other. So what? I think Nero should stay. Don't cut & run, Stay the coarse... You got good taste in music. Maybe you should avoid the "Not necessarily New Wave section" for a while and post in the music section.
