I've been here a long time and I used to be a relatively avid poster, but have since become lax for several reasons and slipped into a lurker mode.

I think the atmosphere here has pretty much degenerated into the constistency of an acid-bath. While I always enjoyed the (usually) good-natured back-and-forth sniping and overall congenial arguments and snarky putdowns a la eight6, Grunch, Jimbo (who I really miss, btw!) - the NNNW board as of late has sort of devolved into something I just would rather not take part in. Namely because I am on "on the fence" over the seemingly <B>BIG</B> issue between the two camps.

kimiiii - no offense meant, but for the many years we've both been members of this board, we've never particularly interacted with each other. I think you've deigned to address me literally [i]three[/i] times in as many years; and once was to admonish me for my "vulgarity". So, whether your here or there . . . well, frankly, I don't really have an opinion . . . honestly. So, I really have nothing to say in the matter.

However, with that said, I absolutely [i]don't[/i] give a single, solitary toss whether she is back or not and have nothing of relevance to add to the disussion about it . . . and I don't particularly care: why she left, what she did to who, who did what to her, who said what to who about who, who made a t-shirt disparaging who, etc. My posts were deleted as well when she left, but I guess I never really cared. If kimiiii were to post a topic that interested me, then I would respond to it. I've been over the whole thing before it ever really started.

I also lurk because I just ran out of crap to say. There's only so much I ever have to add to anything anyway. I'm generally extremely quiet and often when I get to a thread, my point is often made far more eloquently by someone else and belaboring the point with my chicken-scratchings is pointless.

Also, I see that a lot of people I used to interact with are now gone and so it's more difficult (for me anyway) to have any sort of ongoing discussion with others if I don't know them very well. There were a few people that I would have called friends that I really enjoyed blathering on to, but they've sadly departed the board.

But, I even if I post less, I still love to see what everyone is up to.

Yeah, you're right. I look younger but also much more "normal" and I hate it. It's quite an adjustment to lose almost 6 inches worth of goatee overnight [:(]. But it will all be worth it(maybe)if I get the job I'm going for. If I don't get it, that fucker's coming back as fast as I can grow it. [8D]

I had to shave my mohawk in High school to get a job in the shipping /recieving dept. of Mongomery Ward. I had to lose the earing too.
