I cannot stand Seinfeld & all the actors associated with it. But, I wonder if he thought he was doing some outrageous rant that was supposed to be edgy & funny? I can't imagine why else he would do it.

But personally, I believe that when your're angry or drunk, your true colors come out regardless of how you appear any other time.

It was stupid and mind boggling.

It was stupid and mind boggling but i don't agree with the whole "when you're drunk or angry, your true colors come out." when alcohol penetrates the brains protective layer its affect on the frontal lobe causes a loss of reason, caution, and inhibition. From this originates the cocky, careless, behavior of drunk people. Sure emotions are more freely expressed when one is intoxicated, so does this mean that drunk guys that go home with ugly women REALLY are attracted to ugly women. It's all in the loss of reason. Thats just MHO not to say you are wrong wolvy [;)]

Well, I respect your opinion too much wolvy to totally disagree with you. And perhaps in some cases you may be right. The bottom line is that there's nothing worse than an angry drunk.

No, it offends me as a comedian!

But seriously, putting aside the fact that this guy robbed Jason Alexander of at least 2 -- and probably 3 -- Emmys, Michael Richards actually performs as a stand-up comic, and THIS is the best material he can come up with? Jesuse Christ, even Dane Kook comes up with better "material" than that! The dude had a classic episode of "Seinfeld" he could have fallen back on, and he fumbles the ball. Just totally fumbles it. Meanwhile, me, a guy who doesn't have a funny bone in his body, picks it up and runs with it. Maybe I should have 3 Emmys.

Besides, according to Jerry's girlfriend, Beth (played by acclaimed character actress and Lucille Ball impersonator extraordinaire, Debra Messing), "Yeah, who needs 'em? Not to mention the blacks AND the jews."

Thanks Ben!

Man, I don't know...Angry drunks are so sexy though - between the screaming and vomiting, the over powering cologne of stale liquor, along with the stubling swings aimed at your face that land 3 feet from your elbow....I'm all goose pimply just thinking about it! I gotta git me one a' them.

Remember the show Fridays? It was on in the early 80's & was an SNL type of show. He was one of teh regulars & I recall he got in an actual fight with Andy Kaufman during a skit.

Honestly, I don't blame him. Andy Kaufman was incredibly annoying.
