Boys Don't Cry-"I Want To Be A Cowboy"

Postby Spaz » Thu Nov 30, 2006 1:09 pm

Hey!

Can anyone either tell me which compilation (currently in print) features "I Want To Be A Cowboy" by Boys Don't Cry" or, if it's not in print, can someone post it for me to download?

My 16 year old daughter is now getting into music pretty heavily and she's looking for this track. Of course, I'm going to encourage her to listen to as much '80s music as possible! I thought I had it on something, but I can't seem to find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

The song in question had appeared on EMI's "Living in Oblivion" series, Volume 5 to be exact. I know it's out of print, but don't know if it's available on anything else. Feel free to contact me if you're having problems finding it, Spaz.

I was stunned to find the Boys Don't Cry album has been added to Itunes in the last week! It inncludes several mixes and a 2006 Remaster! It was also great to get 'Heart's Bin Broken' too!

Boys Don't Cry is not available for the United States itunes.
That happens a lot from what I have seen. Both countries offer different music sometimes.

I found their full-length album used on Amazon.com for about ten dollars a while back. I'm not sure if its still available. Be careful though, the first time I bought it on amazon, I ended up with the Cure's album "Boy's don't cry". :)

Anyone remember the spoof of this song 'I wanna be Don Johnson'? (So I can pick up hot chicks)

Now this I would like to have.
