Name That Tune..

..so to speak. I know I'm not giving anyone a heck of a lot to go on here. But does anyone remember a song where they said "..and I took a maaans life.." throughout the song? I was thinking it was 242 but I can't find the song anywhere and a friend now has me second guessing Front 242 as the group. I'm blurring Headhunter and the song I'm trying to remember for some odd reason. Anyway, if anyone had a clue it would be this group so I decided to take a stab in the dark and ask. Like I said, I know that's not a heck of a lot to go on but that's all I can remember. It was an awesome song they played in the clubs back in the late 80's here in Houston.

I thought it was Headhunter but it isn't. It pisses me off that I can't remember the name of it. And that I can only remember that little bit of the song.

I know this may be a stretch.. but based on the lyric snippet you provided, could it be "Freemason (You Broke The Promise)" by the Aussie synth pop band Boxcar?

Atreyu's almost certainly right--the lyric is from Boxcar's "Freemason", and that was a dancefloor hit at about the same time as "Headhunter."

Never even thought to post what I remembered thinking, "What are the odds someone will be able to figure it out!" Out of sheer frustration I just gave it a shot yesterday!! I REALLY appreciate that man!

Atreyu, iTunes had it! I'm about to get in my Viper and destroy everyone on the road, whilst jamming to Boxcar!
