When my wife has too many pairs of shoes (or magazines, etc...) out in the common areas -- I hate tripping over stuff -- I want unencombered walkways.

My wife has had a very close friend since kindergarten. She annoys me like no other human on earth, even more than Tom Cruise's fake laugh, Donald Trump's hair, Jared in those Subway commercials, Al Sharpton at a police brutality rally, or a Filipino armed with too many emoticons. [;)][}:)][:o)]

The deal - she constantly cuts people off in mid-sentence. She always has something SHE THINKS is more interesing or a better story or a nicer place she's vacationed to. She has no 2-way communication skills whatsoever, and I want to drop an anvil on her head. To top it off, she had the gaul to say she divorced her first husband because "he couldn't communicate." OMG! It's gotten so bad that I just simply leave when she does it or purposefully cut her off and pretend to never listen to anything she says anymore. In a world without consequence, she'd be dead, seriously. [:(!][:(!][:(!]

Heh, thanks for the opportunity to vent. [:I]

It would have to be slow drivers oblivious to posted speed limits or the world around them. Meandering their sorry asses through town 10 miles under the speed limit and always when I am in a rush to get somewhere. I have fantasies about ramming them off the road or following them to wherever it is they are going and taking a sledgehammer to the car that they dont deserve to be driving 10 to 15 MILES UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT!!!!! Then when they come to a red light they stop 4 car lengths behind the car in front of them so when the light turns green and traffic starts to go it turns yellow really quick because the sensor doesnt detect any more cars because they were too fucking far back. STUPID MOTHER FUC**ERS!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!![:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][;)]

Singers like James Blunt annoy me. That "Beautiful" song annoyed me when I thought it was a shrill woman singing...then it really annoyed the shit out of me when I found out it was a shrill wiener-boy singing.

Other than that - pretty much just dogs in sweaters annoy me. That's about it.

Oh yeah, and loud eaters.

I hate people who act like they know something when it is painfully clear that they do not.

Last weekend, one of my wife's friends came over with her husband who has a number of insecurity issues but that's the least of it. Anyway, he insisted that because my widescreen TV accomodated the widescreen DVD we were watching (no black bars on top and bottom) it was therefore a fullscreen DVD. This of course should be obvious because it took up the full screen.

[V] [xx(] [V] [xx(] [V]

No amount of explaining could change his mind. Partly because he suffers from the same mid-sentence cutoff disease that Mrs. Blir's friend suffers from. But when I finally got my message through (stripped down of course, and accompanied by illustrations) I was faced with abject denial, manifested by the very powerful "I don't believe you" argument [:(] for which only a short trip to wikipedia.com could remedy. Daunted with the less than pleasant task of reading, he conceded his point.

I guess this "thing" that annoys me is part of a megalomaniacal pride who's bearer simply cannot be "wrong". The same sort of pride that induces bold statements without thought or reason. Just the worst kind of ignorance IMHO. I do find tremendous consolation by reminding myself that hey, at least it is'nt me [:p]

Yeah, never listening just thinking what they are going to say next. You can tell just by looking at people like that when you are talking to them that they aren't even paying attention. [xx(]

He's probably a really slow driver too [V][V][;)]

I guess he got a computer for home now? He never really posted on weekends before. Then again, he's a graphic designer and I know the deadlines can be pretty demanding at times. So he may very well be at work.

I'm annoyed by people that can't take a hint. I hate being put in the position as the bad cop, but some dipheads force the situation.

And no, I'm not refering to anyone here in case you're wondering.

The only annoying thing I can think of right now that annoys me--and only me--is when you tape something and you can see little air bubbles trapped under the tape. Drives me crazy. Everytime I tape something, I have to take the end of a pen and rub it across the tape to squash the bubbles (and to make the tape not have that dull look to it. If you squash it, it's not that noticeable).

Yes, I'm weird.

I am very sensitive to that issue myself, BMG. The trick is to use patience while gently putting the tape down from one end to the other, an inch or so at a time while smoothing out any air before it gets under the tape. When the tape is down in proper position, alignment and sans bubbles, you then proceed to burnish it with your pen for secure adhesion.

3 things, first people who say stupid shit without thinking and using expressions they heard before but use them out of context. People who say things like :it's colder than hell outside" think people! think! and those who think harleys should be the only type of bike on the road. I own an 85' v-max that stock can eatany stock harley and mosr modified and I pai a fraction of what the harleys cost and it's never been in the shop before! why BECAUSE IT ISN'T A HARLEY!I still get the dorks who'll pull up next to me and make an idiot comment like "rice burner crap" and I usually say something like " you're ugly and I can buy a different bike"

Hard to tell from my online persona, but I tend to be the guy that is constantly joking around others and I can generally get a group laughing pretty easily (or piss them off equally as often). I hate when I come up with a joke and then hear someone else repeating it later, especially when they use it over and over. That person tends to come across as pretty uncreative to me.

I also can't stand when people keep joking about the same subject over and over, as if every time you see them it becomes time to break out the same stale lines. We live in a big pathetic world with a lot to joke about, so try coming up with something different every now and then. One local newspaper should provide you with enough to joke about for at least 24 hours.
