Had to reply again. A lot of shit annoys me.

I hate when you're at a political rally/earth day event/charitable function and the legalize pot morons and the dildos selling the communist rag "The Daily Worker" show up. Get your lazy pot smoking ass together and organize your own damn rally, stop mooching off of everyone else. And the shithead communists that sell The Daily Worker, why don't you give that shit away? If you really believe in the damn cause, shouldn't it be a service you provide to your comrades? Why do you need to make money off of it? Not to exclude the simpletons wearing Che Guevara shirts at peace rallies. Really? And how many innocent farmers did Che shoot himself? How is that fitting in with your definition of peace?

Any book with "Chicken Soup for the..." or "Don't Sweat the..." in the titles.

Anarchist soccer teams piss me off too. My brother refereed a soccer game between an anarchist team and a communist team (seems like this kinda crap only happens in the Bay Area). I guess there was a real aggressive player on the anarchist team that barked out orders to everyone around and they all did what he said. That shit makes zero sense to me. That weenie should have started a dictator team).

Last on this list (there may be more, I'm an angry man), those fucktards that work for Lyndon Larouche. They are worse than Scientologists. They're not just sheep, they are stupid sheep.

Breathe in, breathe out. Hulk changing back to Banner. Aah.

When someone has the tp so it rolls under instead of over, I know you are just wiping your ass with it but I want it rolling over dammit. Or staying in the bathroom, when you step on a bathroom rug not knowing someone soaked it after a bath and you get one sock wet. Having to hand someone a roll of tp because they didn't have enough sense to check if there was any before taking a seat and pinching one off.

What used to annoy me (and probably only me) were those HDTV commercials that would show a side-by-side comparison of a football game on a HDTV screen vs. a regular TV screen. The commercial spokesperson would say something like "look how much better the game appears in high definition!" and of course, the game on the HDTV screen would look much better. The thing is...you're watching the commercial on a non-HD television, so shouldn't both screens look exactly the same? Only people who already own an HDTV should be able to see the difference.

I think advertisers have wised up, because I haven't seen one of those types of commercials in a while.

The trick is to use patience while gently putting the tape down from one end to the other, an inch or so at a time while smoothing out any air before it gets under the tape.

Try using a ruler to glide across/stick the tape.

Hate people who stand in the middle of the sidewalk having conversations and not getting the fuck out of the way when people want to get by.

Hate little glitches on MP3s from amateurs who don't use a secure ripper (I listen with headphones a lot, so it's easier not to miss stuff).

Speaking of commercials , one that annoys me is that Toyota spot with Kelly Clarkson singing . Man , talk about annoying ." Now is the time" for her to shut the f**k up.

2 more things that annoy only me (and probably not anyone else):

1. When game show contestants pause to "think" about their next decision when the result is really random chance. The prime example is Deal or No Deal and choosing what number suitcase to eliminate, but there are examples on other game shows too (which door to open, what key to pick that'll start the car, etc.). You know what I mean--contestants who'll say "hmmm..." and you'll see their eyes shift from left to right, left to right, before finally saying "number five" and they'll continue to pause before each subsequent choice. It's not like you can deduce which suitcases are better or worse. If I was up there, I'd be blurting out the numbers as quickly as possible.

2. Fortune cookies that tell you what type of person you are. For example: "You pride yourself on being an independent thinker." Where's the fortune?!?! Tell me that something interesting is going to happen in the future (even if it's bad). Go ahead, I can take it. I don't need a piece of paper presuming something about my personality.

<p align="justify">Whoas! There's an ANARCHIST FOOTBALL TEAM?![}:)] That concept of that doesn't sound annoying at all... if I were a spectator![:D]

What annoys me? Lazy people and unappreciative people, both of whom I work with at the moment. My co-worker is a fucking lazy piece of shit and my boss shovels his work onto me and seldom says how good of a job I do for the price of two[xx(]

Other than that, I intensely dislike: nicolas cage, gwineth paltrow, jason schwartzman, comedy by Robin Williams (I love his dramatic roles, though), Goldie Hawn's daughter, drew berrymore, the show "friends" and the people who love it (generally, but with few exceptions), and borat.

I hate fiction books where the main character is a writer. Jesus Christ, who are you trying to fool? Either just name the character after yourself (like Bret Easton Ellis does in Lunar Park, which is a great book) or make up a different job for the stupid character.

I also hate people who leave their litter and crap in shopping carts. Is it really that hard for them to throw out their ice-cream sandwhich wrapper or the extra piece of cardboard that ended up in the cart upon checking out at Costco?

Whether it's general annoyances, such as that yapping-on-the-cell-phone-while-driving crap, or personal annoyances, it's funny to see that a lot of us get similarly annoyed !

Personally, I am annoyed by texting language being passed off as "real" language. Not just today's teens, but people in general using it for real communication. My students act very testy when their "U R"s are corrected, and are annoyed to hear that that is not accepted in the "real world". I read recently that in New Zealand, it will be allowed to use texting language on their high school Exit Exams !

I also get annoyed by organized religion and its ilk. Don't proselytize ! It's similar to telemarketing, which I HATE. If I am interested in your product (or religion), I'll come to YOU, thank you very much. Don't approach me and assume I'm interested.

I have far too many and have come to the realization that I am quickly turning into a horrible curmudgeon.

A few that really incur my wrath and get my dander up:

British tourists - Especially of the 18-30 year old male variety. It's funny that Americans are often seen as jingoistic, obnoxious visitors abroad. I can say that with absolute certainty, young Brits on holiday are the most obnoxious, the loudest, the whiniest, the rudest and most disparaging, drunken bastards to ever shuffle drunkenly through continental Europe and loudly proclaim that "everything is crap". Young Americans on the other hand, when I encounter them are usually always polite, interested in their surroundings and eager to engage with locals out of genuine curiosity. The Brits shouldn't be allowed to travel until age 30 or so however. I'd like nothing more than to see half of them locked up in Murru Prison for a year or two. The British are so polite and so very reserved? HA! That is surely some American stereotype formed by someone who never encountered a small slobbering pack of them . . . hooligans.

Local convenient store clerk #1 and #2 - Don't fucking tell me one more time to "enter your pin number" when the doohickey prompts me too. I KNOW HOW TO READ. Besides, even if I were some sort of illiterate, I come in twice a day and have picked up on that bit of advice several years ago.

Forced socialization and small talk with assholes - This happens all too frequently at work. I am just not the type who can engage in it. Sure, I can be civil (albeit in small doses). Sure, I can not act like a total prick who wants to eviscerate you with a pencil. But, if I dislike you and you dislike me and we are both well aware of our mustal disdain, drop the fucking pretense that we are "pals" when the higher-ups are around. It only makes me hate you more for being a fake, lying dirtbag intent on impressing others . . . also, I realize I have both a "funny" and "unusual" given name and surname, but I've worked there long enough for you to have learned how to spell both.

Strangers touching me - Keep your hands to yourself, please. I just somehow thought this was common knowledge and a universally accepted practice. Stupid me.

People who refuse to discipline or reprimand their out of control children - Thank god I don't have any; and thank god for those who have them and know how to parent. It never ceases to astonish me how Americans parent their very small children. They aren't your little friends, they are your kids! Stop pretending you don't see the mess they are making in public places because you are too lazy to clean it up. Stop dressing your 3 year old girls like 40 year old hookers. Stop buying them so much crap they don't need just because they whine for a few moments and you want them to always like you. It's little wonder why we live in a society where everyone feels as though they are entitled to everything sans hard work or discipline - if it makes someone feel bad or causes them an iota of discomfort, well then, we must eliminate it! Because, we all know, we should all be spared any sort of inconvenience whatsoever at all times or we are entitled to throw a colossal wobbly.

Shopping carts left in parking spaces. Especially when the cart return area is 2 or 3 spaces over.
