OK, well they may never release another official Devo record, but I just received word from a credible source that we are about to get the next best thing!
"Jihad Jerry and The Evildoers" will be released quite soon over on clubdevo.com (the official site) as soon as mastering and packaging is completed. This is Jerry Casale's "solo" album, but will feature other members of Devo as well. Let's hope that includes Mark! I was also told that Jerry would like to do some touring to promote the disc. Let's all hope that pans out.
Anyway, keep checking clubdevo.com for more details, and we'll see you.... at the movies!

Having been burned one too many times I now venture off to see reunion bands with very low expectations. I breifly thoought about making the 7 hour drive to see DEVO in Chicago last month, then decided it probably wouldn't be worth it.

Be glad you didn't see DEVO in Chicago. That is the exact show I went to. I've been contemplating how much to get back into Duran Duran too. The Ragged Tiger tour was my first concert ever. I remember getting goosebumps!

Speaking of old bands making a tour...
My sister saw the B-52's 'rock the joint' in a Casino in San Diego and said they still enjoy performing after 20yrs!!!!
I can't wait for them to come around the again. I'll go check them out even if it's a bow

I'm far too nervous a person to say that at DEVO's website. I'm feeling anxiety just thinking about doing that. I would like to know why the show was so short though. But other people on this board were at the same show and thought it was great. Maybe

UniversalRadio, I saw Devo at the KROQ Inland Invasion in September, 2004, and they probably played the exact same 45 minute set that they played for you in Chicago. And they rocked the house! They made spuds out of every 20-something kid there. What

Wiota, you've got some valid points. They were extrememly energetic. But New Traditionalists was actually the album that got me into them. I like their post 1980 stuff. I didn't do my homework, and it actually wasn't 50 bucks I shelled out but rather
