Chocolate. As Latino As You. WTF?

A large colored envelope that was sent to me by Verizon Wireless with the attention grabbing headline "Chocolate. As Latino as you."
In their effort to grab the Latino population, they have released three colors, Cereza, Blanco and Menta to represent the three colors of the Mexican flag.


I'm waiting for someone from Verizon to call me back and explain.

They first had the audacity to deny they have any advertisement like that until I e-mailed it to the Supervisor (probably should have posted this in the annoying things that only annoy you thread!).

Would "White Chocolate, as white as you - Whitey" been ok?????

just menta, which with my vast knowledge of the spanish language (and looking a the picture) I'm guessing means mint, although I thought mint was a flavor not a color but...

This is the first time I hear menta is used as a colour... I can imagine how puzzled a car seller would be if I asked them for a metallic menta auto... they'd look something like this: [xx(]
