This weather sucks!40's, 50's and even 60's in mid December? The northeast needs a nice hefty Nor'easter to get this ski season jump started. I know northern Vermont( Jay Peak)had a decent storm a week ago, but where i ski ,Sugarloaf, needs snow badly. I don't want to ski on man made crap all season.
Think snow!

I'll do what I can in the prayer department. I miss the snow too, but it's in short supply har' in the south.

It snowed here this morning!

There has been snow on Mt. Charleston for a while, which is close to us, but this was snow on my roof and on my car. It wasn't much, but I was grinning like a goofy kid when I saw it.

I like this snow--pretty on the mountains, easy to wipe off the car, and none on the ground so I don't have to try to drive in it. [:D]

I want snow dammit! How the hell is Santa Claus going to find my house if all my christmas lights are not reflecting off pure, clean snow????
This christmas has been ruined. I hate you global warming!!!!!!!!

The weather people here keep toying with us, hinting around that it *may* snow Sunday night. I know they're lying, it's supposed to be 40 that day. Bastards.

Wouldn't I love to. I have family in Jackson Hole, so I may have to head there if things don't improve in the east.

Come out to Salt Lake for some real snow and real mountains. It's snowing light fluffy powder right now.

I have to concede Utah has the lightest powder anywhere,I've been to Snowbird and Alta. There's nothing like hard fast eastern snow
,to learn proper skiing technique. Learn to edge, or eat some bark.
Come to think of it I think I'd perfer face shots over bark.

Well, this is disappointing, I just went into my backyard & noticed that all my daylillies, daffodils & stuff are coming up. It needs to be sub-zero & blizzarding here!

Crappy ski conditions in Ontario too [:(] Temperatures were in the 40s-50s. I got there Sunday night and did'nt ski until Friday, after a fairly mild snowstorm and a few days worth of snow-making. Only a few runs were open [:(] We did get lots of local sight-seeing done and had great meals. One was at a this great inn with some 150 whiskies on the drink menu and one hell of a tender elk steak. DELISH [^]
