First one that comes to mind is Jesus & Mary Chain, I think because they came around just as I was getting bored ('85 - '86).

Other bands I have a newfound appreciation for are Joy Division (even though I always loved LWTUA), Waterboys and Men Without

Oh i wish I saw the jam

but i missed U2 at malibu because I was too young to get in (age was 18 at teh time to get in)

I missed alot of bands because of the lack of money :)

I always regret never having seen The Tubes back in the 1970's. And I may be skewered for this one, but I was too much of a snob in 1978 when all my friends went to see Kiss. I wish I had gone- I'm not much of a Kiss fan, but I miss the 70's when rock sho

Not really New Wave, but I'm very glad I never heard "Paradise by the Dashboard light" until 1991. And hopefully I will never hear it again.

I've YET to see U2 in concert. It's just one of those things - I keep meaning to...but, something always comes up. I've also never seen REM either, but did that quite intentionally. In fact, I usually flee the city if they're coming just to ensure there a

Lately I'm into Bow Wow Wow...They had a really cool and unique sound to them..I wished I was more into them back then.

Hmmm...I seem to have seen almost all the bands you guys missed, from The Sex pistols to Joy Division to Comsat Angels to U2 in a nightclub (they were the opening act), The B-52's opening for Talking Heads. The Jam (3 times), The Clash (4 times),The Stran
