Some shared obscurities...

To atone for my recent run of locked threads (come on, [i]really[/i]...it's a bit of an overreaction) I'm posting a couple of songs I like that are quite hard to find.

Grey Parade couldn't buy a break. After signing to Plan B records for their first (and only) lp "The Reason", they began recording tracks while the company slipped into bankruptcy. The production was scrimped on and there was almost no promotion for the lp. Not many copies were pressed, and few sold.

From there they signed on to Numa Records, and Gary immediately went about changing their sound. Let's just say that was a mistake. They made only 1 single for Numa (House Of Steel/Asleep).

The Reverbs released 1 ep titled Happy Forest, containing the song Trusted Woods. I don't know much about the group other than the fact they evolved into the group Velvet Crush.

Ahhh -- Thanks EIGHT 6.....Insultingly obvious political lyrics...meandering, melodylessness with not a hook in sight...Gary Numan style vocal attempt with 'Gentlemen Take Polaroids' era Japan thinly done....PLUS a couple tribal "hoo-haa' chants at the end.....THIS is why I come to this site!!
