I have to get organized. I have a crazy busy schedule and I'm going to start writing down my day on a clip board. It works for me.
Start running again. I plan on doing a 5k run in the spring for charity.
Hit the Dojo alot more. I am down to a few times a month and I plan on competing so I must go 4 or 5 times a week.
Organize my photos
Do alot more with my kids.

I need to get some new friends. No, that is not a reference to anything that has been happening on the board.[:D]
I have a lot of dear friends but they're scattered across the country or at the really annoying stage of breeding where all they can talk about is diaper contents and they won't leave the house.

It's damn hard to make new friends at 40!

geez, I hear ya! I'm in the same boat. My friends live all over the place...my best friend lives in Portland...and many of my friends here are also "breeding", as you put it. That's OK, I bear them no ill regard, but for a while, I'll hang back while they hang diapers...sigh...

OH NOOOOOOOOO![:0] But for me, it's Pepsi. I call it my one vice. I adore the stuff.
However, in my case, I have no plans to quit. I don't care if it's that bad. Luckily for me, I don't drink that much Pepsi...usually a 12 oz. can once a day or once every 2 days. I've cut way back, but that's as far as I will go.

I'm billing my resolutions as lifestyle changes [;)]
The Mr. and I are joining the gym that was just built nearby. I dropped a lot of weight in 2005, and I've been able to maintain that, but I need to lose some more and then I need to tone up whatever has been hiding under the flab.
My vices are red meat and Diet Dr Pepper. The red meat I'm going to try to limit to once or twice a month. The Diet Dr Pepper thing is going to be hard. I drink amazing and scary amounts of that stuff, and I know it has to be extremely bad for me.
And, last, I'm going to start doing things for me. I feel like a mama duck with all her ducklings waddling behind her. They're old enough now that I'm going to go do "me things" without them.

Anyway my resolutions:

3) pick a week and try to survive WITHOUT take-out or delivery (and get into the habit of cooking a good, wholesome dinner every night).

I don't buy into any of the scaremongering around sodas. I'll agree that having more than a few a day isn't the best thing for you, but come on, how many of us in the past 100 years or so of soda's history have died of "soft drink poisoning?"
I honestly don't believe any of the aspartame scare stuff either. It's been disproven many, many times. BUT, if you're concerned about it - switch to Pepsi One. It has the other sweetener (which I can't remember the name of!)
