bummer thing happened the other day..i'm ripping cd's into the 'puter and i ran out of room. seems like collection through H takes up 60 mb's..i'm maxed out 1/3 of the way thru.

so I think i need an external harddrive. circuit city has the 250 mb. western digital on sale for $219, hooks up through usb. good buy or bad buy? like or don't like?

what does everyone else you to hold their stash? do you rip the entire cd or cherry pick?

any help greatly appreciated!!

Good choice for external Hard Drive. I bought a 200GB 2 months ago for $200.

I only rip entire CD's (never cherry pick). I prefer listening to entire CD's not indivdual songs. I also never rip at 128kbps. I prefer higher quality MP3's. Somtimes on

I rip at 160 or 192k and burn to a cd-r. I've got a discman that plays MP3 discs so buring 10+ albums to one disc is the way to go for me.

I've got a 100g Hitachi drive that I put into an external enclosure. I hook it up to my laptop via either firew
