Now it’s time for some goth/dark wave from female trio The Vyllies. The songs are from their LP “Lilith” which has been released in 1986.

Mondino you Swiss fiend!! Vyllies Sacred Game lp was a great disc. Friend of mine brought it over from Europe many moons ago and became a quick fave. Would you have a good version of Marys Room, as my copy eventually skipped on that tune?
Also looking for the Real Popes debut lp any chance you might have? It was a cassette brought back from Europe as well--long since lost but I was able to find "Things I Saw Today" on a comp a while back.

The following two songs are both available on a compilation called "Swiss Kult Hits". The compilation is still available and contains 7" versions. I therefore I give you the 12" versions of those songs.

Mittageisen - Automaten (Extended Version)

Touch El Arab - Muhammar (Extended Version)
http://download.yousendit.com/68A990CA3DA1F497

Believe it or not - Muhammar reached Nbr. 4 in the official Swiss charts. This was exactly 19 years ago.

Back to serious stuff. Next up two tracks by a group called Fil Rouge. The songs are taken from a 12" which has been released in 1985

Today's song is a Swiss cult classic from 1982. "Nüt" was the first rap song with Swiss German lyrics. Translated in English, the song's title means "nothing". Claude, the guy responsible for this gem scored even a top ten hit with it. Obviously only in Switzerland.

I have included two versions of the song: the original in Swiss German and the same song with German lyrics. You'll either love it or hate it. Or else use it as a free Swiss German language course :-)

Brothers Return - (The walls From) Jericho
http://www.yousendit.com/download/NsjDOp0kBId5TA%3D%3D

Haven't been listening to this Italo-Disco attempt from Switzerland for years. Back then my English was quite poor, so it's only today I realise the lyrics' religious feel.

Also jumping the Italo-Disco bandwagon were the guys from Fresh Color. Changing their name from Frische Farbe to Fresh Color, replacing their female singer with a guy and going for English lyrics seemed to be the right move.

Der Zivilschutz - Sex With You
http://www.yousendit.com/download/NshUdga2bWx5TA%3D%3D

I haven't got much information on the next band. All I know is that the 12" is currently up for sale at GEMM.

As the offer is quite pricey, here's your chance to get the song for a much better deal.

I'm glad you guys like the songs I post here. That's enough motivation for me to continue, cause there are still plenty of Swiss cheese that's waiting to be posted.

If anyone else has some forgotten gems from Switzerland, feel free to post them here.

Ive got a batch, but not nearly as much as you. I always knew there was a lot of Swiss talent - never able to find most of it though. Thanks for all the shares.
