Jody Watley all the way - I love that zombie-like stare, the monotonous voice, the semi-pissed off vibe, the giant hair extensions, her kind of mannish features, and most of all - you always knew you were listening to Jody Watley because every song sounded just like the last! Perfection!

You forgot the hoop earrings so big you could've set them afire and watch the poodles jump through. [:D]

I voted for Cyndi. You wanna wear a skirt made of shredded newspaper to the oasis? You got it!

Even Debbie Gibson by herself could take out all hundred members of The Jets.

Had to go with Lauper on the poll... liked her songs better, especially Robert Hazard's "Boys Just Wanna Have Fun!" [:)]

Gotta go with the gloved one, Thriller was the shit in the day. Provided that our way back machine can erase the memory of what he has done throughout the years on his way to freakdom.

Had to go with enfans choice, M. Jackson. [;)]
Out of everyone on the list provided I had no choice. Back in the day I listened to Off the Wall until my ears bled. It really was a great album and a damn shame he turned out the way he did [:(]

Odd. I've never even heard of Noel? Who the hell was that? Maybe I just blocked it out.

What an . . . er . . . interesting list.

I didn't vote, btw. LOL.

Funny - it made my ears bleed the first time I heard it!
[:D]

Noel was a freestyle singer. I think he had a song called Silent morning? (There was also a disco singer named Noel who was produced by Sparks!)

Just as I predicted. Cyndi Lauper is beating everyone on the list. Some people call Madonna the queen of the 80's. But maybe that crown originally belongs to Cyndi?

Yeah, it wasn't really the kind of music I liked at the time either but I borrowed it from my sister and pretty much owned it after that. I was a true "Dancin' Machine" [:p]

I went with Mr. Jackson.....Off The Wall was a pretty good disco record.....I think this list was kind of the 'milktoast' bands of the 80's....I think jumpshift knew what she was doing when choosing these artists...
