Best NW Kinks Cover?

I've been a long time fan of the Kinks and was curious to know which New Wave band you believe to have recorded the best Kinks cover.

As of now, I am probably going with The Raincoats' version of "Lola", but there were so many!

Just a few off the top of my head:

Richard Hell & The Voidoids - "I Gotta Move"
Pretenders - "Stop Your Sobbing"
Pretenders - "I Go To Sleep"
The Fall - "Victoria"
Kirsty McColl - "Days"
Elvis Costello - "Days"
Flesh For Lulu - "I'm Not Like Everyone Else"
Stranglers - "All Day and All of the Night"
Fleshtones - "Too Much On My Mind"
The Jam - "David Watts"

Seems they were extremely influential to a lot of really cool people. So, which are your favorites? Also, if you know of any other cool covers (they don't have to be New Wave), please list them - even the newer stuff I would be interested in hearing.

Also, I know the Rezillos did a live cover of "I Need You" but I've never heard it. So, if anyone has it, I'd love to have a copy.

I like The Fall's version of "Victoria" the best, followed by The Pretenders' version of "Stop Your Sobbing".

Young Fresh Fellows' "Picture Book" was pretty good also.

The Romantics - She's Got Everything

Oingo Boingo - You Really Got Me

The Boingo one is certainly one of the most off-beat covers you'll find. [:p]

I agree with Motors.
The Fall's Victoria is the best, then the Pretenders "Stop Your Sobbing" I also like Kirsty MacColls version of "Days".

Add Robert Palmer, Mott the Hoople, and Van Halen to the list of those who did a cover of "You Really Got Me".

Madness also did a cover of "Lola" on the Dangermen CD.

David Bowie covered "Where Have All the Good Times Gone" on his Pin-Ups album.

"Stop Your Sobbing" is such a great song I had it in my top 50 for that Ultimate New Wave Song Poll we had a few months back.

Not New Wave, but "Paralyzed" by Rock Kills Kid sounds a lot like the Kinks' "Superman"

Yeah, the Pretenders' "Stop Your Sobbing" is indeed a great Kinks cover. I think I might have included it in my top 50 as well.
