Fellas,

what is it: http://file2upload.com/file/9130/Unknown-79-1.mp3.html ?

recorded from the air, somewhere in Austria/Slovenia, end of 1979. CC is signed as "pop-parade 79".

Googling for lyrics' text failed :-(

TIA :-)

“Iron for the Iron” by the Planets.

From their 79’ album “Goon Hilly Down”.

I couldn't imagine what it was, either, seeing as I was never able to actually download the clip. (If it is The Planets, that's a terrific album and I heartily endorse this service and/or product.) Crap-ass site. Whatever happened to predictability? The milkman, the paper, yousendit?

(This was going to be XL Capris - "What Do They Do in Igloos?," but the bastards suspended RStrathfield and yanked all his clips. Thanks, YouTube.)

Yeah, this is The Planets, found this one and "Lines" here http://www.sideload.com. Looks like lost jewel, I like it a lot. Wish I find complete GOON HILLY DOWN album, but currently no traces...

As for f2u site - looks working once again.

BTW (I know this is tooo far from new wave), however:

http://file2upload.com/file/10943/Darkn ... s-mp3.html

the same from-the-air record of 1979, well known song - Youngbloods/Robert Palmer/whoever...

But: _whose_ perfomance is this? What album? I can't find out still...
