The record you can never find!!

We all have one, you know the record you've looked for forever, but can never find. Mine, that's simple: "Hemingway" by Blue Clocks Green". Over the years, I've been able to find limited pressings (200 copies pressed etc) and even a couple of pieces that were never intended for release, but not even a sniff of the Blue Clocks Green classic, 7" or 12". Hell, I can't even find the CMJ Certain Damage 15 CD that contained a version. Sure, I've got an mp3 of it but I'm addicted to collecting vinyl, not mp3's.

Tell me I'm not alone in this, others out there must have a similar story. Maybe reading about others grief will ease mine.

GEMM is just WAY TOO expensive to be a viable resource.

The one record I've been looking for is the 10" version of "Folk of the 80's" by Men Without Hats. Had a few on ebay that I almost won but got sniped at the last minute.

I've bought numerous records (100's) online from both GEMM and Musicstack and I'd give the nod to GEMM as far as reliability and security. Not that the product quality is any better but you really have to do your homework to buy from a vendor on Musicstac

Musicstack is pretty cool but like Gemm, they are just the middleman. I don't think either will help you if you get screwed over. You really have to be careful about checking the customer ratings because there are some absolutely terrible sellers on both.
