Eurythmics... There must be angel... plus, the harmonica is played by no other than Stevie Wonder.
Same for Sting's "Brand new day"... I know everyone here dislikes his solo career, but that song and that album is really good.

Can't believe the two most well-known ones (in the NW world, anyway) haven't been mentioned:
The Pretenders "Middle Of The Road"
The Thompson Twins "You Take Me Up"
The only other one that comes to mind as of right now is Talk Talk "Living In Another World" (came to mind because I listened to it just this morning. I wish Mark Hollis would get off of his avant garde bent and go back to making catchy pop tunes!)
