Blancmange - Don't tell me - 3 different 12" mixes

Postby DavePlym » Fri Jan 07, 2005 6:06 am

i'm just checking if anyone else has found these 3 different 12 inch mixes,
1, standard UK 12" which messes around with the track, with bangs/crashes and a little bit of the song thrown in.
2, The USA 6.45 remix (not sure if promo only)
3, a german 12" with '120 bpm' on the front and 6.22 shown on the back as the time which somehow mixes aspects of both of the above.

i thought having 2 different 122 versions of 'that's love that it is' was the whole lot, but maybe there's more mixes out there...

ok, over to the experts at nwoutpost.

There is a Dance Remix (6:51) which appears on the Retro:Active Rare & Remixed 2 complilation. I'm not sure where it came from originally, but perhaps Alex Hush (from Hi-Bias Records) could give some insite. He posts on this forum, so perhaps you could

This mix was on the b-side of the US 12" for "That's Love That It Is".

Yeah this one is a bit of a mystery.
I think the USA 6.45 remix MAY be the same one as on Retro:Active2. I say this as the DAT master we got had the 6.45 time on it but it was actually 6.51.
I also think the so called 'Clanky Mix' is the same mix as we
