I am more looking forward to the rumored "legit" dvd release of Joy Division material. Hopefully better than the VHS release of Here Are The Young Men or the dodgy bootleg compilation DVD that I have.

It's the oh-so-obvious answer but you really need to hear "Love will tear us apart". It's an un-ignorable song detailing a relationship that you just can't hold onto. Since it was released right at the end, it will always be associated with that suicide

Distilling Joy Division down to just three songs is pretty hard.
Then... what versions?

LWTUA - That's number one on my Joy Division list
Transmission - My fave, but the studio "live" verion is the best IMO.
