Oooh, sorry about the file problem, and with Britney too. Yikes.

<br>It's great that this MP3 was shared, but you're not missing much with this "jazz version". It has a sax into, but the best version is the version that everyone's familiar with. It features Alison's superb vocal and that's all that matters. To me, the sax just sounds in the way. I think I would have liked it better if the combo improved a bit in the middle, with the track beginning and ending with Alison, but the instrumental at the beginning simply sounds pasted there.

Did you actually listen to it? What did you think of the Briney bits?[:D]

Britney, even in bits, stinks. She deserves no mention on this board...even if it's to refer to her utter, no-panty-wearin', horrendousness.

Hey, anyone familiar with a Hot Tracks version of "This House"? If not Hot Tracks, then another remix service mixed this track. Not sure how it sounded or what type of mix, but know it exists because I had it from Napster years ago. Accidentaly deleted it before I listened to and have never been able to find it again.

Funny, I can see Alf re-doing this as a duet with Mick Hucknall or even as a cover by Simply Red.[8D]

Great observation!!! I can hear that, too. Mick's voice get a bit on my last nerve at times, but I can see him singing "...Bridges" just perfectly. To me he just sounds lke he's trying to sound too much like himself rather than just singing a song. Know what I mean? I think I'd rather hear Alison do this track with Paul Young, or even someone like Mavis Staples.

or could anyone who has all these b-sides throw them in a zip file and post it on either sendspace or yousendit.....pretty please. :D

I saw her at Irving Plaza NYC back in '93(??)with a full backing band. Awesome needless to say.
