Sometimes an album just doesn't grab you at the first listen. But if you give it another try down the road you "get it". One album that immediately comes to mind for me is Morrissey's Ringleader of the Tormentors. First time around, I skimmed through it and it just totally rubbed me the wrong way. Now? That's some good listenin' [8D]

i'll have to say,cee farrow's only album.shaun cassidy's wasp album which really grabbed me by the 2nd listen with all its hooks supplied by todd rundgrun. the rubinoos party of two mini lp as well which was also produced by todd rundgrun.get wet's only album that included,just so lonely.....

For years I had The Style Council's "Confessions Of a Pop Group" lp collecting dust in my garage, wasn't too impressed with it at the time. I decided to take it for another spin and immediately went out & bought the CD version. It simply sounds better, even great 20 years later. I can't explain it. Tastes change...

Believe it or not--Alphavilles "Forever Young" . Bought it when Big In Japan was a screamer of the week for one of the local stations. Played the lp and was totally unimpressed. It was about a year later I took it out for another spin--has been in my top 10 since.

China Crisis Collection. I bought it because of Wishful Thinking. I played that song over and over skipping the others. Then i miss to skip Arizona Sky and realize it was great. I listened to the others and realize ive been missing great songs by this band.
Now, its one of my favorite.

Luna -Lunapark
I loved Slash your tires and Anesthesia but that was about it.The rest of the cd did not impress me. Three months or so later I gave it another spin and slowly Luna's subtle hooks got to me. They became one of my favorite bands of the 90's.

William Shatner's "Transformed Man" lp. As a kid, I didn't appreciate the grotesque beauty of it.
