Does anyone else in here just totally love this song by Martha & The Muffins? This is one of the New Wavest songs ever! I never get bored of it.

Yesserie, great tune with a haunting refrain.
I also liked 'Black Stations/White Stations' Martha Johnson's funky 1984 M + M club track.[8D]

Not my top fave, but it sure reminds me of the great days of KZAM, "Modern Music, Modern Mono," back in ninth grade, 1980-81. That song, Devo, Split Enz, Any Trouble. Fun times.

A fantastic song, really brings back the times.

Ive just re-discovered LIGHT YEARS FROM LOVE: a solo song from Martha (with Peter Hook on Bass).

A great slice of 80's electro pop.

Anybody else heard it??

Echo Beach is good. their best is "Casualties of Glass" and "This is the Ice Age".

I love Martha & The Muffins (M+M). They are one of my most favorite canadian new wave acts of the 80's. Besides the Spoons and Men Without Hats, they come in third place. First off I want to say I am not a big fan of Martha's version of Echo Beach. I mean

It's nice to know that the bunny came from Echo & The Bunnymen instead of you having some strange fix for rabbits.

I haven't heard that version of echo beach. How does it compare to the M&M version?

Well- as you know, NOTHING can compare to the original.
This one is like a house/dance version mixed by New York DJ Susan Morabito. I just never heard anyone else do a cover of it before, have you?
