altered images/hipsway/texas....which 1 is better?

Postby georgie rockwood » Fri Feb 02, 2007 12:49 am

which band do you prefer????????
do you prefer altered images, hipsway or texas????
hipsway was the same band minus vocalist claire grogan from altered images.
texas was the same band minus the vocalist from hipsway.
i really think the 2 hipsway albums was really where altered images was heading musically after hearing, "i could be happy".
texas was just totally different than altered images & hipsway, really going for that american audience with a more, bible belt/american heartland sounding albums....
so.....i prefer the 2 hipsway albums over altered images & texas...

Altered Images and Claire Grogan were far more interesting than the others, IMO, especially their first 2 albums. I have the first Hipsway album and these days I find it hard to suffer through it.

Yep, I liked Altered Images way more. I wasn't aware Texas was a spin off of a spin off. Interesting. I'll have to give Hipsway another listen though, havent really heard any of their stuff in a while.

If Georgie is going to give us a rundown of all the Altered Images spin-offs, he forgot Big Store (Jim McKinven and Michael "Tich" Anderson). Whose one entire single means more to me than Texas' entire catalogue.

Altered Images were much more original and fun. I'm a big fan.
