There is an awesome blues musician named Billy Hector, who plays in clubs all over the state, and NYC too. His band is called the Fairlaines. If you live in NJ, I would strongly reccomend going to see him play. He has 3 or 4 cd's out, which are available

I forgot about Rosemary Pure.
There was also Kairo Skuro(sp???). Oh, and Mildred Pierce.....and Felix Frump. Damn...New Brunswick(NJ)bands were a dime a dozen. It's hard to keep track.

I hit the Court once in a blue moon to catch the occasional show. I still miss the hell out of the Melody. Then there was the Roxy(NJ)...which leaned more towards catering to the mainstream crowd but reserved a night for those with a taste for gothic/new
