Welcome to the new forum!
If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

1) Click on 'I forgot my password' at the login prompt
2) Enter your username and email you registered with and submit
3) You will receive an email with an activation link. Please click it and then log in using the random password provided
4) Go to your User Control Panel and click on the Profile tab
5) Click on 'Edit Account Settings' and enter your new password twice followed by the random password provided earlier. Click Submit.
6) That's it...you're back in! You may have to log in again with your new password.

Like klgawz, I was working at a cable TV company when MTV launched August 1, 1981. I remember it was a big deal, we carried the stereo FM service too. Sounded great.

MTV was great back in the day(and VH1 Classic was OK for a while, but sucks now-they play the same videos over and over, ignore requests, and never add anything new, except 90's junk), very few commercials, like VH1 Hits is now, but I still believe the go

I agree! MTV is not what it was. My daughters very seldom watch it. I have to admit that they like American Idol, which is not as cool, but at least I don't have to have the birds and bees talks about that!

I am very fortunate that I have great kids and I have to say that probably has something to do with how I raise them. I talk to my kids about everyday life and they know that I am there for them. No I am not "friends" with my children. However, I am a fri
