mtv USED TO BE COOL, NOW ITS THUG TV. If I want to see a toilet made of gold in a billion dollar mansion, being used by a bum with a doo rag and gold teeth, I can watch mtv 24 hours a day.

I'm just waiting on another synthesizer, drum machine,sequencer, and we'll head out to make our mark. won't be easy but thats the funtime in it.

There is a lot of great music being made today. It's been discussed many times in other threads.

I used to like it when it first came out but even back then the ratio of "good" music to "crap" was pretty low. The only show which I consistently tried to watch was "120 minutes". That's when I first heard groups like 54-40 and the Bodeans.

I have to agree with an earlier post. I watch VH-1 Classics mostly. I never watch MTV now. I watched it a lot then. Times change.
It's nice to have VH-1 Classics on my cable system. They show a lot of stuff I've not seen in years. It's the best

Yes, great memories of MTV when it first started. Me & my honey Melissa would stay up half the night watching the videos & listening to those 4 or 5 DJ's they had back then.
