Are we talking about Eric Clapton? S'cuse me if this was brought up before but I shy away from topics on organized fan clubs.

Don't get me started!

Well I wanted to reply before I read all the posts and become all judgemental on you all! Haha!

Just kidding.

Well it wasn't until I turned 33--I'm 35 now, that I finally put aside all my personal doubts and judgements. Because that's all they were-- PERSONAL DOUBTS AND JUDGEMENTS. I don't believe in any religions or anyone telling me how to believe. However if you do, that is fine. Everyone is different and I would never tell anyone how to be.

My problem all along was that I never saw any proof. Proof was all I wanted in order to believe. Then one day, after a lot of reading and researching and self realization stuff, I had a thought... THE PROOF IS MYSELF! I am the co-creator.

I don't believe in God as some old gray haired dude sitting in a big chair up in the sky. I do believe their is a higher realm of being and a lot more out there than meets the eye. And I think that the human-ness in us, clouds that. I think that Jesus, Buddha, among a few others is our prime example of what to strive for.

What I learned is that we are all born spiritual. You just have to uncover a lot of crap in order to realize it.

One thing I feel the need to mention is that I don't agree with the way people instantly blame or ask God WHY when there is a tragedy of any sorts.

Like I said, we are the creators of our lives. And what happens to us personally or on a worldly basis is entirely up to us. We choose. We make all the decisions. It is your decision on how you react to these things.

It is not God's fault for that earthquake or tornado. It is not God's fault for the war in Iraq. It is not God's fault for the bad things that happen to us personally.

Oh crap, I'm opening up a can of worms aren't I?

<p align="justify">Those people who believe in God and ask and blame God for tragedies and injustices have every right to question and demand answers from God. After all, if your view is that God is "He who created everything," then that means He created all the chaos and misfortune that falls upon every person, animal, and plant[}:)] If I were to believe in the God who created everything, then I would thank God for every good that comes my way - because God willed it to be good - and I would also blame God for everything bad because... you guessed it... God willed these bad things to happen. If not for God, these things - good or bad - would not exist in the first place.

I don't believe that God created everything.

I do believe that WE ARE THE CO-CREATORS.

I do believe that everything we see is an illusion.

I do believe that everything is a deception.

I do believe that we have gotten far away from truth and got lost in the physical world.

Hey, these words of wisdom could have been injected into Run Lola Run . . .

OR they could be the beginning of a really cheesy Celine Dion song (so glad they're not!).

Hee hee. Just havin' fun with the words- don't take me too seriously. I'm a firm believer that everyone should believe what they want and that no one else should judge them for it or try to "convert" them in any way. [;)]

Heh... alright I'll chill out.

Just trying to cause a little chaos.

Truthfully, I don't care what anyone believes or doesn't believe. I just love messin' with everyone.[}:)]
